ShoutCast and IRC are back up!
Posted by: Chemich - 03-18-2015, 02:22 AM - Forum: News & Announcements - No Replies

ShoutCast is now basically just a Heavy Dubstep AutoDJ with a seperate community attached to it, the IRC Chat links you to this community.

Decided to incorporate #Dubstep with Chemtek since I own the channel anyways.

Everything is in working order, so enjoy this website at it's current full potential!

Moving, so no servers until move.

Both Shoutcast and IRC will be down until I'm done moving; this may imply an IP change, sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for your support! (which is literally no support at all, but thanks for it anyways.)

Question Everything is back in working order
Posted by: Chemich - 03-03-2014, 06:14 PM - Forum: News & Announcements - No Replies

Chemtek Radio:
Now back online!

Description (Subinfo):
Dominant Genre: Heavy Dubstep
Dominant KBPS: 128 KBPS
Dominant "Bit": 16 bit
Dominant Frequency: 44.1 KHZ
Surround Sound: No
Sound Type: Stereo
Slots: 100
Auto DJ: Enabled

Dubstep IRC:
Now online!

Description (Subinfo):
Server: What-Network
Server IP: s1.what-network.net
Port: 6667
Channel: #dubstep
(Will be disabled until I get my server working again. Sad )

Both the IRC, and Shoutcast Radio are in proper working condition. The laptop seems to be holding up fine, all S.M.A.R.T. tests prove no errors and no inadequacies.

Thank you for your patience.

Sincerely,
Chemich

  Get Rekt Russia!
Posted by: Chemich - 02-21-2014, 02:59 PM - Forum: News & Announcements - No Replies

Anyways, besides the obviously immature title I've blocked Russia completely out of accessing my website.

For one this is an ENGLISH ONLY WEBSITE. ONLY. ENGLISH. Russians who refuse to speak English when posting, and just spam up my site with worthless garbage have ruined their chances of accessing my website in general.

If you have access to the internet you should consider it using responsibly before you act upon impulsive, childish behavior. Because I can strike back just as quickly, so sorry Russia a few bad apples have ruined your privilege. Smile

Also my website now has CloudFlare support, so if my host for any reason stops working we'll now have a "backup" in a way.

Also the Chemtek IRC, and Chemtek Radio are now temporarily down (no EST on arrival.) Since my old laptop which I was using as a server had a massive Hard Drive failure, there's no chance of it coming back up any time soon (unless if people actually start WANTING it to come back.)

Multiple security updates to keep those sneaky Russians from invading my forums again and spamming like they did last time. It's nothing personal, just some of you should be supervised by parents who know what "parenting" means. Smile

Have a nice day everyone!

Sincerely,
Chemich

  What's going on?
Posted by: Chemich - 12-19-2013, 11:51 AM - Forum: News & Announcements - No Replies

Well let me tell you what's going on.

Recently I decided to homehost a couple servers with my connection.

We now have a Shoutcast server (internet radio,) that plays in HTML5! (The only non HTML5 option will be to download the playlist file from the "Chemtek Radio" page.)

I also have a Just Cause 2 Multiplayer Mod Server! It can support up to 50 people, which is why it's set to "50" obviously. The Shoutcast itself can support up to "1,000" as noted by my connection. I don't expect my Shoutcast to get anywhere near that amount of usage so I'll leave it at 1,000 until I start getting a nice spike in traffic.

So if you like these changes, and wish me to keep them up feel free to drop a donation if you can. I'll eventually think of some way to make it so that there's incentives to donate, but your donation will be honored as long as you have a forum username (without one, it's considered an anonymous donation.) As for those who are donating for the Just Cause 2 Multiplayer Server, make sure you message me your donation email, and Steam ID when you do! I'd like to opt everyone in that donates into future Donation-Only incentives.

Who knows what I'll do next? Maybe I'll shave my beard... ha... (No it's not a neckbeard. Just Chin + Moustache. Wink )

Finally starting to work on this thing...
Posted by: Chemich - 10-04-2013, 05:44 PM - Forum: News & Announcements - No Replies

Added a whole bunch of new stuff.

From profile addons, to the server tracker, to this and that.

Forum's almost done, looking for some specific things to do then we'll see what's up.
